At the Free Family Day BBQ 2009, we were happy to welcome "L' equipe du Dimanche", a group of young and dynamic Mauritian soccer players as new members at this event. Everyone enjoyed the food which was free, in abundance and delicious. We had as special treats home made beef burgers and a variety of exotic salads. We could easily find one or more games to play and have fun. The photos on our website www.mcsv.net.au will speak for themselves. In short, we were all in high spirits with the atmosphere of friendship which prevailed.
THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP!
At the Annual Dinner Get Together, there were the quiet and not so quiet moments. At the quiet moments, the chop sticks and the bowls were doing all the talking while we were appreciating the delicious meal. Else, we were sharing some quality time with our friends. What a nice surprise we had after our meal!

FRIENDSHIP IS FOR SHARING .....
At the MCSV Membership Renewal 2009, the hall buzzed as everyone was taking this
opportunity to catch up with friends or relatives. The younger generation was active on the playground as the day was just beautiful. Everyone was so happy to enjoy a free exotic
bryani chicken or beef lunch with "achard" or "chatini" without the hassle of its preparation.
We helped ourselves to free soft drink, tea or coffee. We all had a wonderful time and there is more to come ...

SHARING TOGETHER .....
At the Moon Festival Dance Party 2009, we all enjoyed in our own and multiple ways :- catching up with our friends, watching a live sega show, dancing to a few songs or all night long, savouring the authentic Mauritian Chinese moon cakes, trying our luck at the raffles and even getting drunk in the end for a few.
